Veterans United Foundation Awards $15,000 Grant to Project Zero’s Outdoor Program

Project Zero, the pioneering nonprofit dedicated to transforming the wellbeing of first responders and veterans, is thrilled to announce the generous award of a $15,000 grant from Veterans United Foundation. This significant grant will empower Project Zero to further its mission of promoting wellness among our nation’s heroes through the expansion of the Project Zero Outdoor Program.

Through a total wellness approach, Project Zero offers wellness services such as counseling, outdoor adventure, and physical wellness. However, one of the most innovative and impactful initiatives is the Project Zero Outdoor Program.

The Project Zero Outdoor Program

At Project Zero, we believe that healing and growth can often be found in the great outdoors. The Project Zero Outdoor Program harnesses the power of nature to promote the social and mental wellness of first responders and veterans. Through a variety of outdoor activities, including overlanding, camping, and fishing, participants find a renewed sense of purpose, camaraderie, and resilience.
