For Immediate Release:
The Project Zero Alliance (Project Zero) and Joan and Stanford Alexander Jewish Family Service (Alexander JFS) are excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership aimed at providing essential mental health support to veterans, military personnel, and first responders. With a shared commitment to fostering mental wellbeing, the collaboration will ensure cost-free and confidential mental health services for those who have served and those protecting our communities.
The challenges faced by veterans, military personnel, and first responders are immense and often deeply impactful on their mental health. “Often, they feel very isolated in their experience and struggle in silence” said Dr. Ada Cheung, Chief Clinical Officer at Alexander JFS. Recognizing this urgent need, The Project Zero Alliance and Alexander JFS have joined forces to offer comprehensive mental health services that cater specifically to their unique experiences.
Through this partnership, eligible individuals will have access to a wide range of specialized mental health programs and services tailored to address their specific needs.
“Since the founding of Project Zero the mental wellbeing of our veterans, military, and first responders has always been top priority, and it’s crucial that we provide them with the support they need when they need it,” said Kyle Shutic, Executive Director at Project Zero. “By partnering with Alexander JFS, we aim to extend the continuity of our services and continue to break down barriers to access quality mental health services and create a space for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.”
Project Zero and Alexander JFS are thrilled to be part of this transformative initiative that brings together expertise, resources, and a shared vision. Together, they seek to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have selflessly served our country and communities.
