SUMMARY:Palo Duro Challenge - Claude\, TX
DESCRIPTION:The Camo Group\, sponsored by Project Zero\, was formed for the 2022 Palo Duro Challenge to provide 10 active or retired Veterans and First Responders with the opportunity to experience Palo Duro Canyon from the driver’s seat of our favorite vehicle\, the Jeep. \n\nThis new Advanced level group for 2022 will spend two days exploring the trails of the Figure 3 Ranch with three Trail Guides\, full of fun\, excitement\, and fellowship. Participants will be put to the test in their Jeeps on the many different types of terrain available in the Palo Duro Canyon. \nDuring the online registration and during event check-in\, participants in this group will be required to provide proof of service as a Veteran or First Responder. \nWe also realize that not everyone involved in Project Zero has a Jeep or a rig but wants the experience of adventure-therapy. A-drivers are more more than welcome they are recommended. Sign up as a passenger and we’ll pair you up with someone in our group and show everyone how Camo Group gets down! \nONLINE REGISTRATION\nWe expect the Camo Group to be one of the first to sell out during this year’s event\, so mark your calendars for midnight (12:00a) on June 7\, 2022\, when online registration for the 2022 Palo Duro Challenge begins. Please email us if you have any questions regarding Camo or any other group participating in the 2022 Palo Duro Challenge. \nSilver Anniversary 1997-2022\nThe 25th Annual Palo Duro Challenge is to be held on September 22-24\, 2022 at the Figure 3 Ranch in beautiful Palo Duro Canyon\, south of Claude\, Texas\, about 35 miles east of Amarillo. \nRegistration starts at 12:00p on Thursday\, September 22\, 2022. \n\n\nThe event will sellout at 225 Jeeps. We will have several trail guides and we will divide them into 10 different groups. Each trail group will have a different degree of difficulty from moderate trails to trails that will test you and your Jeep. If you are unsure about which group you should be in\, please contact the event coordinator. \n\nOur trails are maintained and designed for narrow-bodied Jeeps. Therefore\, a maximum outside track width of 90″ on all Jeeps will be enforced and a 44″ maximum on tires will be enforced. This is a Jeep only event and we realize that most Jeeps now days are heavily modified from their factory condition\, so if you have any questions about your Jeep qualifying to attend please contact the event coordinator.
